If you are taking Savella and have concerns, please talk to your doctor.  I have never taken this medication myself, as it was not FDA approved in Canada, but do know many people who are taking it in the US to treat Fibromyalgia.  It is always advised to talk to your doctor before deciding to discontinue any medications.

    Savella
I was actually asking my Dr about this medication on Monday. Apparently this drug is NOT available in Canada because it can’t pass the strict guidelines that our FDA has. Compared to the US we have much harsher restrictions.

Unfortunately I know of alot of people in the US who are taking this medication. I belive Savella was also rejected in Europe. I’d have to verify that information, so don’t quote me on it 😉 Scary stuff!
