I want to share some information about an awesome organization. If you are not familiar with the National Fibromyalgia Association, it is a nonprofit organization which supports Fibromyalgia survivors and people who suffer from other chronic pain illnesses. NFA works hard to give those of us living with Fibromyalgia and other chronic pain illnesses, a voice. They do this through education, creating awareness. They also work to encourage and empower those of us who live with these illnesses. They have a lot of really great information on their website. I encourage you to visit their website and take a look around. NFA also publishes a magazine called “Fibromyalgia AWARE”. It is the one and only magazine available for consumers, which is solely dedicated to the topic of Fibromyalgia. “Fibromyalgia AWARE” is published four times a year. NFA has now made their “Fibromyalgia AWARE” magazine available to read online, for free! Yay!

You can read the current issue (Winter 2009/10) at:

I also wanted to take this opportunity to remind you about the Webcast today at 12:30pm – 1:45pm CST, which will be streaming live from the American Academy of Pain Medicine Annual Meeting.

To access this Webcast, you can sign in, up to one hour before at:

If all goes well, and I can get my daughter busy doing something quietly, I’ll be tuning in myself 😉 Wish me luck! Lol
