How Does A Fibromite Cross The Street?

(Photo from WeHeartIt)

Do you ever feel like life is moving so fast, and you are trying to get on board, but you would need it to slow down, to even stand a chance.

It reminds me of standing on the sidewalk of a busy street, watching traffic zooming by in both directions, and trying to catch a break in activity to cross.

The heavy fatigue and fog I’ve been living in for the last week and a half finally lifted. Each day I’ve been able to last a little longer on my feet. Things seemed to be moving in the right direction, until last night :s

The fatigue is manageable, but the pain is out of control. It’s like they tag team me. During the period of time that I was in a CFS crash, my pain was lower than what has become my "normal" pain level. Now that the fatigue has lifted significantly, my pain has shot right up.

Fibromyalgia is zipping down the street in one direction, and CFS is doing the same, in the opposite direction. I’m the chick on the sidewalks contemplating how to cross the street without getting run over by either one.

We seriously need a skywalk, or at the very least a crossing with flashing lights!

Perfect metaphor – pain & fatigue as the 2 lines of traffic on a busy road. Brilliant! Maybe we need someone to stop the traffic for us – a fibroguard of some sort, lol :o)
Hope your pain eases soon x

    Crossing the street?
I have always been petrified of crossing the street. My older brother was hit by a car when he was about 12, and that memory has made me terrified. I love this post!
